Model-cum-writer-cum-glamourpuss Katie Price and her boyfriend Alex Reid married yesterday 02/02/10, in Las Vegas, it has been announced.

The couple tied the knot in a "private, simple" ceremony in the US resort... flanked by a TV crew and OK entourage. Real private.

Joral or Aldon, as they're almost certainly sure not to be known, said: "We are very much in love and look forward to the future together. We can't wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who we know fully support our wishes."

Katie, who split from Peter Andre in May 2009, has been dating Reid, a cage-fighter (grrrr) for around seven months.

Andre said he had "no idea" the couple were planning to get married.

The couple's publicist commented: "Their decision to marry has not been made with any pre-conceived commercial plan or media deal in place, and their reason for getting married is purely down to their love for each other."

The couple are due back in the UK later this week.
